Knockhill… Who’s there?
It’s that time of year again for the Scottish Ford Live & Hot Hatch Car Track Day on Sunday 21st May.
For those attending from NI, our road trip began before lunchtime today (Saturday) aboard Stenaline.
Roughly 130 miles of driving later and we’re parked up at a Premier Inn and ready for a few refreshments before tomorrow’s event.
We’ll try to keep this post updated with pictures and videos from the show on the day, so feel free to check back for updates!
Morning Wander
We’ve only managed to get around half of the event so far and you can see some of the cars on show and waiting for the track in the gallery below.
We plan on getting around the rest of the show, mainly the club stands and Show & Shine, in the afternoon.
Updates from the staff so far put the event location at capacity, with overflow areas also being utilised to make room for all attendees – a great success all round by the looks of it!

Afternoon Sights
We took a long walk around all the various club stands and Show & Shine entrants during the afternoon. Both the volume and high standard of cars is to be commended. I believe there have been close to 300 photos uploaded and this simply doesn’t cover anywhere close to every car there on the day.
The staff were kept busy throughout the afternoon with the judging of vehicles and general logistics duties. The respective marque registrars also had their plates full and were on hand to complete official RSOC vehicle valuations for club members.

Track Action
One of the main features of the Knockhill Live Ford Event are the many track cars taking to the circuit.
From fully prepped track machines such as the RS200, Escorts and Sierras screaming down the straights, through to the every day daily driving diesel mondeo, today had a little bit of everything out on track.
Here you’ll find some video clips of today’s action.
